Abingdon Air Show & country fair

UK air show season's just started. Fantastic. I popped along to Abingdon, a town about 40 minutes from home to watch a local show. Just a regional show, but aside from the blustery cold wind all day it was very pleasant. We spent the day sitting in the field next to the flight line having a picnic and enjoying what the show had to offer. Very different to SA shows. i.e. all displays were single craft displays, but I got to see some fantastic old war birds that I would never see in SA.
Good old Bigma delivered again despite the overcast weather & generally poor light. Also managed to get a few shots of Polly Vacher MBE who flies to collect money for the disabled.  Have a peak at her site Wings around the world. She has a list of flying achievements that most folk don't even dream of doing. Well worth supporting her if you can.
BTW... I have my RIAT ticket & can't wait. Any South Africans coming over?
